The family Gambero is running the hotel since 1935 with care and passion: each service is designed to make your stay pleasant and relaxing.
Here in 1923 Ernest Hemingway wrote Cat in the rain. We had as our guests Ezra Pound, King Juan Carlos of Bourbon, Duchess of Kent, Elettra Marconi and the navigator environmentalist Sir Peter Blake, killed by pirates in the Amazon in 2001.
In 2007, after his stay, the writer Lucrezia Lerro, he decided to devote at the Hotel Riviera the story "Fiori di pesco a 5 stelle"
